Skin spots are a common issue caused by various external and internal factors such as genetic predisposition, sun exposure, inflammation, hormonal changes, aging, and exposure to chemicals or photosensitizing drugs. Types of spots include: Melasma: Caused by hormonal changes or contraceptive treatments, appearing on cheeks, upper lip, forehead, and chin.
